NARRATIVE
This local legend, Tower Tee was saved from developmental real estate and given a complete make over. Local investors, with ties to the area and an infinity for the family-friendly golf course, bought out investors and reimagined the space into a state-of-the-art golfing family complex. In addition to a 9-hole course, the new complex boasts tons of family fun activities including putt-putt golf, bocce ball, batting cages and a playground.
The complex also received a new 6500 square foot welcome center. The building features a nod to mid-century design, an era in which the original Tower Tee had its heyday. A large open commons area provides ample seating and overlooks the excitement of a golf simulation room. Plenty of views to the exterior driving range and outdoor patios create a sense of bringing the outdoors in. A pro-shop, concessions, offices, restrooms and trainer's room complete the interior spaces.
The interior design incorporates sleek golden finishes with sophisticated navy accents and dark wood tones. Two full height wall murals feature a combination of photos of the old facility and new, merging tradition and modern amenities alike. Design inspiration came from visioning meetings with the client in which they requested a "swanky, rat pack vibe" with a nod to the local history.
